Job Description
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, manage and monitor the assigned projects
- Overseeing building work
- Maintain project files
- Undertaking surveys
- Setting out sites
- Checking technical designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
- Supervising contracted staff
- Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
- Providing technical advice and solving problems on site
- Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
- Liaising with quantity surveyors about the ordering and the pricing of materials
- Ensuring that health and safety and sustainability policies and legislation are adhered to.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction of Housings, Apartments, Residencial Building Projects
- Ability to read, understand and summarize trade documents, including drawings and specifications
- Understanding of construction industry processes including cost estimating, planning, scheduling, materials procurement, cost control and quality management
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Site management and problem-solving skills
- Competent analytical skills
- Ability to work with urgent deadlines, flexible priorities and manage multiple team leaders
- Proficient in report writing both in Nepali and English.
