Production Pharmacist

Job Description

• Responsible for the production of drug products from acquisition of all materials through processing and subsequent packaging to the delivery of finished products to the warehouse.
• Provides overall direction for the technical and administrative operations in the warehouse, dispensing, processing and packing.
• Prepares production schedules in cooperation with the Production Planning and Inventory Control In charge.
• Responsible for reviewing all the Batch Processing Record and Batch Packing Record and ensures that the production is executed in accordance with the batch processing procedures and packaging procedures.
• Discusses production failures with Quality Control Manager and determines causes of the failures and the solution
• Responsible for ensuring that all the equipment is correctly validated and utilized.
• Assists in conducting WHO GMP and ensures the strict adherence to WHO GMP.
• Responsible for monitoring controlling and maintaining Cleanliness in the production area.
• Responsible for maintaining high level of employee morale competence, development, training and conducting annual appraisal of all subordinates.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly report.
• Prepare annual production target.
• Reduce the production cost and Production loss.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years in the Production / Operations function (preferably in similar industry) with not less than 3 years in a position of similar responsibility.
• Minimum Graduate in Pharmacy can apply.
• Proven experience in training and development of staff to meet set goals.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to multi-task, and change priorities constantly as needed in a fast-paced environment.
