Job Description

  • Ensure courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service and Hotel operational standards.

  • Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in the daily operation and work.

  • Work according to the instructions of Superiors.

  • To prepare, cook and serve food delegated as your responsibility.

  • Ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained and that agreed standards for food preparation and presentation are met at all times under guidance from a senior chef.

  • To monitor stock movement and be responsible for ordering on your section.

Job Requirements

 

  • Intermediate and Bakery Training.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a baker or pastry chef, with proven experience in a supervisory role.
  • Train and mentor junior bakers and kitchen assistants in baking techniques and safety procedures.
