Job Description
- Prepare ingredients for Chinese dishes according to recipes and instructions, including washing, peeling, chopping, and seasoning vegetables, meat, and seafood.
- Assist senior chefs with cooking tasks, such as stir-frying, steaming, and deep-frying.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
- Participate in daily "mise en place" (setting up and prepping ingredients).
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Replenish stocks and supplies as needed.
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Learn and master basic Chinese cooking techniques.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Running or Degree
- 1-2 years of experience in Chinese Restaurant
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen (Chinese)
- Strong interest in learning Chinese cuisine
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills
