Job Description

  • Prepare ingredients for Chinese dishes according to recipes and instructions, including washing, peeling, chopping, and seasoning vegetables, meat, and seafood.
  • Assist senior chefs with cooking tasks, such as stir-frying, steaming, and deep-frying.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the shift.
  • Participate in daily "mise en place" (setting up and prepping ingredients).
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Replenish stocks and supplies as needed.
  • Wash dishes and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Learn and master basic Chinese cooking techniques.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Running or Degree
  • 1-2 years of experience in Chinese Restaurant
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional kitchen (Chinese)
  • Strong interest in learning Chinese cuisine
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knife skills
