Job Description

  • Process and issue Letters of Credit according to established bank procedures and company policies.
  • Review and verify all LC documentation for accuracy and completeness, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
  • Negotiate LC terms with banks and ensure compliance with UCP 600 guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all LC transactions, including issuance, amendments, and settlements.
  • Monitor LC expiry dates and proactively follow up with customers and suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment of obligations.
  • Reconcile LC transactions with accounts payable and receivable records.
  • Prepare reports on LC activity and identify potential risks or issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of information and efficient transaction processing.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in trade regulations and LC procedures.
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    ?Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in international trade finance, preferably with LC processing    experience.
    ?Strong understanding of LC terms and procedures, including UCP 600 guidelines.
    ?Proficient in accounting software, 
    ?Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    ?Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    ?Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    ?Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
